Clara Andersson Founder/Director

In 2006 Clara produced an artistically acclaimed version of Strindberg’s The Father at The Theatre Museum in Covent Garden, London.  This propelled her to found Borealis Theatre.  Clara is an actress and voice artist. As well as enjoying a varied stage and screen career; she provides voice-overs for a number of major commercial brands. She began her career as a news presenter for Scandinavian TV3 (then the leading commercial Swedish satellite channel) broadcasting from London.

Amanda Waggott               Chairwoman

Amanda Waggott is a professional actress with an MA in Drama. Since having children she has focussed more on production, directing and teaching. Amanda works with individuals and companies management teams on presentation skills. She is on the board of The Playground Theatre where she also produces the inhouse productions.

Sissi Liechtenstein              Trustee

Sissi Liechtenstein previously worked as Media Rights Executive at Peters Fraser and Dunlop/The Rights House where she focused on selling and exploiting book rights over all media outlets, i.e. film, TV, stage, radio, internet and audiobooks. Prior to that she was an Actors and Playwrights Agent at Eric Glass Ltd..  She now has her own literary agency, International Performing Rights Ltd (IPR), where she is looking after the UK rights of an impressive group of  international playwrights.

Donald Sturrock                        Artistic Advisor

Donald has written and directed many award-winning arts documentaries. He now operates as a freelance writer, producer and director for film, television and live theatre. He is currently working on several new opera projects, and has recently published an acclaimed biography of Roald Dahl.  

Simon Clement-Davies             Business & Media Affairs

Simon is Managing Director of Augusta & Co, a leading advisory firm in renewable energy in Europe. Prior to joining Augusta, he worked as a producer and media entrepreneur in music, television and film production,. Simon released over 35 feature films including the Oscar-winning ‘Gods & Monsters.’  Simon began his career as a merchant banker in the City, and ran the media group for Bankers Trust (Deutsche Bank) for 5 years.
